The "T-BOX" provides educational and hands-on materials for Early Childhood Educators and Care Providers to implement a successful program for addressing diversity and tolerance in daycare centers and playgroups. The box includes an informative manual with background information and a variety of teaching materials, such as the easy-to-reference "T-BOX" Idea Cards, a collection of activities that provides how-to steps as well as the science-based and tested-in-the-field theoretical underpinnings for actively dealing with the topic. Additional materials are provided that engage young children in positively addressing similarities and differences to foster an appreciation of diversity (including soft toys, Duplo figures, skin-tone colored pencils, story cards, story cubes, songbooks, and picture books).
