The Worlddidac Foundation was established by a group of enthusiasts who recognised that a good educational product is equally as important for a sound education as a passionate teacher is. The Idea to celebrate and reward the most outstanding contributors and to further incentivise manufactures to continuously strive to develop and create innovative good quality equipment and solutions was the foresight the foundation members had when they launched the Worlddidac Award.Since its inception in 1984, educational products and solutions that have been submitted are subjected to an in-depth examination and stringent assessment by a jury of international experts. As the patron of this biannual event, the Foundation aims to motivate manufacturers of educational products to develop high quality and innovative equipment and solutions. The Worlddidac Foundation continuously supports the vital role that Education plays and strives to ensure the Award is recognised as an accolade of excellence by maintaining a high standard and promoting continuous improvement
